What experience do Andrew Cowley and Steve Waters have of delivering training in schools?
We are qualified teachers with over 60 years' combined experience in primary and secondary education and have substantial experience in leading whole-school change.
We also have collective experience and qualifications in Mental Health and First Aid for Mental Health. We are both published authors on staff and school welllbeing and are ideally placed to deliver governor training on mental health.
Between 2021-2025, Teach Well Toolkit was commissioned by the DfE to deliver Senior Mental Health Lead training. This course is adapted from the DfE course.
We deliver The School Governor Staff Mental Health Toolkit online, saving you time and travel expenses.
What does the training involve?
Day Two: "The School Governor Pupil Mental Health Toolkit" is an online one-day course on Wednesday 10th October 2025.
The course is supported by 6 months of unlimited email support and resources stored in a private Padlet, only accessible by attendees.
