About Us
Teach Well Toolkit supports schools to build a culture of staff wellbeing and mental health. We believe that, unless you take care of your staff, they won't be able to teach effectively or look after the children. We offer a 12 month Teach Well Toolkit School membership, including access to the Mental Health Lead Toolkit, a step-by-step guide to whole-school change to create a caring school community. We are an approved provider of DfE fully-funded Senior Mental Health Lead training.
Suneta Bagri is a primary headteacher, wellbeing and mental health coach, leadership mentor and ITT trainer. She has over 20 years experience and has led a number of schools in challenging circumstances. Suneta co-founded Teach Well Toolkit with Steve Waters in 2019.
Steve Waters taught English and Drama for 30 years in secondary schools and subsequently worked for two local authorities for 6 years as a subject consultant. Since 2011, he has been involved in teaching and training adults, including in mental health. He is a qualified counsellor, first aid for mental health instructor and coach. Steve also has lived experience of mental ill-health and was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2008. He uses his experience to understand and inform his support for school staff mental health.
